Reversible

I found this really cute fabric at a second hand store for 1.75!

  It had a different pattern on each side.

 You can't really see the difference in these next pictures, but you definitely can in person!

 I held off on making a skirt with it for a while since I couldn't decide what pattern I liked more and I only had enough for one skirt.

 Then my sister offered the brilliant idea of making it reversible! My first reversible skirt and it turned out perfectly. Love it!

A Moment of Bleach Panic

I loved this skirt! It was one of my first and it is so comfy and fits me just right. I was holding a crying baby while pouring some bleach. I knew before I did it that it was not going to end well. However, I was wrong!

Yes, I got bleach spots on it, but after seeing this post on pinterest I promptly went to the store and bought a bleach pen.

If I thought I loved this skirt before...I had to refrain from doing this to every article of clothing I owned! Hahaha I did refrain. I do plan on making more like it though!

Hello, welcome to the archive of my hobby! :) Over the years I've made many things from diaper bags to sun dresses for my girls. I have settled on and perfected making skirts.

 People have told me for a while now that I need to start selling them, but that seems to take all the joy out of it for me. So I've compromised and created a blog where you can come look through and admire my work. ;)

 Haha Now, before you are offended by my obvious pride in my work and leave let me say...Also, this will be somewhat like a store rack where you can browse through each item and if you come across something you like, let me know and we can work something out. I can make duplicates. My goal is to post one a week, but I'll most likely be posting more often than that. I will probably throw in a random project here or there as well as well. I hope you enjoy!
